Our Mission

Faith forged in
troubled times.

We exist to lead Catholic pilgrims into the living story of the Church — beyond Rome and into lands where faith took root through sacrifice, perseverance, and extraordinary grace.

Through immersive pilgrimages to Spain, México, Perú, Costa Rica, California, and the Gulf Coast, we invite travelers to understand how the Gospel came to the New World. Christianity grew in spite of imperfect men and flawed systems — it came through saints, missionaries, martyrs, and Indigenous believers who gave everything.

We neither romanticize colonialism nor reject the faith forged within its history. Instead, we walk a path of truth with reverence.

These journeys are not tours, but acts of remembrance, reconciliation, and renewal. For Catholics who long to know the saints as friends, understand the Church's history with honesty, and return home with a deeper love for Christ and His Church.

From Fellow Pilgrims

Those who have walked the road.

The unforgettable and unique trip to Mexico City enriched my view of colonial and indigenous history. The past was more than a time of oppression. History is not just good and not just bad. It's the juxtaposition of both — the light and the dark that encompass human experience in the Americas.

To find yourself in Our Lady's care is to find yourself a child again. For the few days of this trip I felt like a child being shown a new and radiant world — my wonder increased by the fact that the world was closer to home than I had expected, more mine than I could have imagined.

Mexico City Pilgrimage
What a great experience to be awakened to God's guiding hand in the history of the Americas. I thought Our Lady of Guadalupe was just for Mexico — but she is for all of us.

Dr. Stear is a knowledgeable and engaging guide who really made Mexico City come alive. His enthusiasm and professionalism were what made the trip more than simply a vacation for all of us.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions pilgrims often ask.

What is a Catholic pilgrimage?

A Catholic pilgrimage is a journey of faith to places where God has worked through saints, sacred history, and the life of the Church. Unlike a vacation, a pilgrimage invites prayer, learning, and spiritual renewal as you encounter Christ in places that have shaped the Catholic faith.

Are your pilgrimages accompanied by a priest?

Yes. Whenever possible, our pilgrimages are accompanied by a Catholic priest who celebrates daily Mass, offers the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and provides spiritual guidance throughout the journey. His presence helps pilgrims experience each destination not only as travelers, but as members of the Church on pilgrimage.

Who leads the historical presentations?

Our pilgrimages are enriched by historians, professors, and scholars who specialize in the regions we visit and the history of the Catholic Church. Rather than simply touring historic sites, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the people, cultures, and events that shaped the faith across Spain and the Americas.

Do I need to be Catholic?

No. While our pilgrimages are rooted in the Catholic faith and include Catholic liturgy and spiritual practices, all respectful travelers are welcome. Whether you are Catholic, exploring the faith, or simply interested in history and sacred culture, we invite you to journey with us.

What is included?

Each pilgrimage includes thoughtfully selected accommodations, transportation within the itinerary, guided historical presentations, spiritual formation, and many meals. Specific inclusions vary by pilgrimage, so please see each trip's itinerary for complete details.

How physically demanding are the pilgrimages?

Most pilgrimages involve daily walking on uneven streets, historic sites, and occasional stairs or hills. Each itinerary includes a description of the expected activity level so you can choose a pilgrimage that matches your comfort and mobility. We strive to maintain a pace that allows time for prayer, learning, and meaningful encounters rather than rushing from place to place.
